About Arthur:

Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg was born in 1945 and has been a member of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna since 1960. In 1980, he was made Chief Rider and is the youngest person to have held this post in the 400 years of the School's history. He is a trainer and instructor of the highest international repute who has successfully trained riders and horses up to Olympic medal standard. His classical schooling methods do not rely on the use of force by the rider and, as a result, his training clinics are in great demand.
